Hi I'm Alison,

I am a Contemporary Mixed Media Painter & Art Educator, originally from Trinidad & Tobago living and working in New Bedford MA. My Art-Making process brings so much joy into my life and I love sharing that joy with others through teaching. Welcome to my Art courses and workshops. Here you will find the tools and techniques to grow your skills, your confidence and your creative style. 

My Story:

From I was a little girl my big dream was to become an Artist and open an art gallery in Paris. However when I was 13 years old I was told by a teacher that becoming an artist would lead to starvation. It devastated me and pushed me to explore other avenues. However, destiny had different plans in store for me. 

After trying to suppress my creative spirit, Art found its way back into my life. It reminded me of the deep fulfillment and joy that can only come from expressing oneself through artistic endeavors.

After going to art school and pursuing a career in Fine Art Painting and Art Education I eventually opened my very own Art Gallery in New Bedford MA. (Not Paris but I loving joke that New Bedford is the Paris of New England).

Through pursuing my dreams as an artist, art educator and gallery owner I realized that I had a unique opportunity to help aspiring artists who may have also faced similar doubts and setbacks. 

As someone who refused to let go of their creative dreams, I am here to guide and inspire you to never give up on yours.
